Each month these girlfriends explore the feelings and emotions experienced by all through genuine and heartfelt conversations.

Taking one emotion one month at a time, Mel and Kel delve deep and discuss how to take control of our thoughts and beliefs and choose to live a better life.

You’re invited to join them each week for inspiration, encouragement, and a few laughs too.

She has an even bigger heart for kids!

Together, we are the Mel and Kel Show

We have been friends for a VERY long time. We met back in 1992 when we were both taking on the world of education as new teachers. We quickly found that we complimented each other in so many ways and became instant best friends through our trials and errors of teaching. Our friendship has grown over the years and has flourished into something strong and beautiful. We have endured the ups and downs of life’s challenges and joys and our friendship has only grown stronger as we supported each other and grew together. Now here we are, chasing our dreams to host a podcast. Throughout the years, we have been told countless times that together, we are a comedy act and that we should have a show . . . let the show begin!

Meet Kel

Kelly has been in the education field for the past 28 years. She has her Masters in Counseling and is always helping others. She gets so much joy in making people laugh and loves nothing more than serving her community. She started her business New Day Family Recovery to help families who struggle with their child’s drug use. She has been down this road with her son for ten years and now wants to help others so they don’t have to go through the pain and heartache the way she did for many years.
